Susan Hyland - Chief Executive Officer, Mastersoft Research
Susan aligns strategic vision with operational pragmatism to achieve results for Mastersoft Research across Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region.
Susan joined Mastersoft in March 2006, as Executive Vice President Strategic Market Development to provide strategic advisory services to the Group CEO and re-ignite Mastersoft’s brand and presence in traditional markets. Susan has also performed the role of Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales, heading sales initiatives and partner relationships worldwide. Before joining Mastersoft, Susan worked as a sought after independent consultant delivering strategy and operational direction to a wide range of international and domestic clients including British Telecom Limited (UK), West coast Limited (UK) and clients of Gramercy Venture Advisors. She has also held a variety of executive roles within Fujitsu Australia Limited and its group companies.
Susan holds a Bachelors degree in Science (Sydney University), BA (Sydney University), Graduate Diploma in Operations Research (University of Technology NSW) and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD) and FiTT (Females in Information Technology).
George Langley - Director of Strategy and Solutions
As one of the original business founders of Mastersoft Research, George Langley has contributed to the development and evolution of Mastersoft Research and its products from the very beginning.
In his roles at Mastersoft Research and in other ventures, George has advised major enterprises and governments in four continents on a range of information management areas including data quality, customer recognition and information governance. George has been a keynote speaker at information conferences in several countries and has written several white papers and articles on customer information quality, single customer view and information interoperability.
As Director of Strategy and Solutions for the Mastersoft Group of companies, George oversees the vision and strategic direction of the Harmony Series.
Patrick Lam - Product Architect
Patrick has over twenty years of architecture and software engineering experience working in Australia, SE Asia and America. Patrick has extensive experience with applications designs across multiple industries and platforms including Mainframe, Midrange, Client-Server and Service Oriented applications and has been specialising in the Enterprise Architecture specialising in Master Data Management, Identity Management and E2E Security and Enterprise Integration in his Enterprise Architecture roles at Oracle / Novell / IBM GSA / Telstra / Australian Bureau of Statistics.
Patrick also published recently in PCQuest Magazine, the article “Digital Slices of an Analog World” discusses the importance of the assumptions when modelling an information system.
Patrick also has a large number of other interests outside IT, he enjoyed learning about Quantum Physics, String Theory, Astronomy and Technical Analysis, he is currently reading “A New Kind of Science”.
